Mother Teresa & The Sinners to Present at 2014 MAMA Awards

Mother Teresa & The Sinners are proud to announce that they will be presenting at the 2014 Modesto Area Music Association(MAMA)Awards. As the previous year's winners of the MAMA for the Best Jazz/Blues Category, they will be guest co-presentinv the MAMA for this Year's Best Jazz/Blues category. Awarded annually every October, the MAMA awards celebrate the best of the Modesto Area Music Scene. Winners are chosen via public voting and announced at the Black Tie Awards Gala broadcast live October 14th from Modesto's State Theatre. Local Talent Vies to Open for B.B. King

The Modesto Bee and the Gallo Center for the Arts are currently sponsoring a contest in which local acoustic blue acts will vie for the chance to open for B.B. King at the Mary Stuart Rogers Theater on February 25. Patterson resident and bass player for Mother Teresa & The Sinners Aaron Camp will be competing with band members Teresa Beaton (vocals), Logan Ash (guitar), Bruce Rodd (keyboards) and Eric Carey (drums) to win the contest. Mother Teresa & The Sinners to attend the 2014 NAMM show in Anaheim, CA

Teresa Beaton, Logan Ash and Angelo Camacho of the Modesto-based Roots Rock act Mother Teresa & The Sinners will be attending the 2014 National Association of Music Merchants(NAMM) show in Aneheim, California. The NAMM show is the music industry's premier showcase for the latest in products and technology related to the music industry wherein hundreds of manufacturers, dealers and notable artists will gather at the Anaheim Convention Center from Thursday January 23rd through Sunday January 25th. In addition to the numerous vendor booths and halls, the show will feature music and business seminars as well as live entertainment each evening including acts such as Jonny Lang, Sheila E. and Robby Krieger of The Doors.
